FIRES have already destroyed many peoples lives. Just yesterday Cape Son reported the tragic story of a young boy, Charlton Marcus, who was badly burned when, wearing wet clothes, he went to stand next to a paraffin stove. BAPTISM OF FIRE FOR LEARNERS AT ACADEMY

 

Fire Safety is fast becoming a familiar term at schools because learners are being sent to the South African Fire and Medical Academy (SAFMA) in Ottery for an intense four-hour fire and emergency life skills training course.
