L & A Safety was founded in 2006 by Tish Hollis and André Nel.

When it was first born, L and A Safety had only Tish, Andre and a driver but they soon realised that they needed to increase their staff compliment to ensure the best and most professional service at all times. 

They have since employed an additional 5 staff in Cape Town as well as opened up a branch in Vredenburg and Robertson in 2012, thus ensuring the best service to their customer base in the Western Cape.

Tish and Andre share almost 30 years of experience in the safety industry, focusing mostly on Personal Protection Equipment. 

Their motto is simple:  “ The reason we have made it so far is simple! We maintain a very strong working relationship with all of our customers. As a result of our stock holdings we are never short of what the customer wants, the exceptional level of quality and competitive pricing. Last but not least, we pride ourselves in being a one stop destination for all of your Personal Protection Equipment.”

L & A clientbase spreads across the safety areas in construction – engineering – municipalities – government hospitals and agricultural sectors, amongst others.  Over and above, they have a division in Corporate Clothing and Gifting, and ensure that all their products are aligned to the most current industry standard.

L & A Safety also ensure their support in the community and selects to support The Blind and NSRI.
